Providing more opportunity for young men to advance from high school to college was achieved in the CDFL, and for the college player trying to get a crack at the pros, the CDFL’s Collegiate Bowl Games answered the call. However, in 2012, the CDFL seized yet another chance to help young men follow their gridiron dreams go the europeanand North American Professional leagues.
This chance came in the form of the Euro-American Challenge or EAC. The EAC was born from the realization that there is just simply is not enough professional opportunity to accommodate the amount of highly talented, unsigned free agents in the world today. With American football growing rapidly in Europe and Asia, there is a surplus of player’s in the USA and worldwide who need true exposure to showcase themselves on a global stage to an international audience. Due to its international flare and fascinating matchup, this game is more than just a football game. The EAC is a worldwide sporting event with diplomatic and ambassadorial relations. On December 20th 2013, The United states will host the 2nd annual Euro-American Challenge being played in Myrtle Beach, S.C. This game serves as the the opening event of the CDFL’s Collegiate scouting Bowl weekend. TEAM AMERICA top U.S. free-agent football players looking to sign a professional contract. TEAM EUROPE will include a selection of the top free-agent football players from Europe.
